DO NOT make hasty choices
Make sure the drug plan you choose has all of your drugs on it.
Each Medicare Recipient must apply for their own Part D
Enrollment period for prescription coverage through Medicare part D begins on NOVEMBER 15th, 2007 and runs through DECEMBER 31st, 2007 ! You have time for a thorough investigation. Those currently not taking any medications who are eligible for Medicare must either be currently enrolled in a plan providing creditable coverage and if not, must enroll in Part D by December 31st 2007 to avoid any penalties!
They (medicare) suggest that everyone (in this case - everyone in Ohio) check their current prescription coverage against Ohio offerings of Part D to make sure they are enrolled in creditable RX coverage.
